success

Thinking about what has been going on in the church, at home, and in life I start to examine just what it is about myself that leads me in the opposite direction of what God wants me to do. I “flip the switch” if you will with my Jesus face all the time. You do it to so don’t act like you have no idea what I’m talking about. It’s like i do the exact opposite of what I want to do.

Paul says “I can anticipate the response that is coming: “I know that all God’s commands are spiritual, but I’m not. Isn’t this also your experience?” Yes. I’m full of myself—after all, I’ve spent a long time in sin’s prison. What I don’t understand about myself is that I decide one way, but then I act another, doing things I absolutely despise. So if I can’t be trusted to figure out what is best for myself and then do it, it becomes obvious that God’s command is necessary.”

Therefore…

  • I must decrease so that He can increase
  • I can not trust myself if I don’t trust in God
  • I must do what God wants, forgetting what I want

Here I am, use me.
