The wife’s friends

s6301167.jpgGrace homecoming was this past weekend (actually like two weekends ago, I think). It was a good time to hang out with Bethany’s friends and their significant others. The best part of the whole event (which is becoming a yearly tradition) was to sit around with a group of people and talk about God and church in a relaxed setting.

It’s funny to me that we don’t argue abut church issues when we are together.  They are more concerned about each others daily spiritual development instead of petty church issues.  Their concerned about the other one if their slipping.  Bethany’s friends sit and laugh together because Jesus Christ was the one thing that brought them all together.  It’s awesome to see the joy in their lives.

What if we did in our community? What if we didn’t think about church issues? What if we were just concerned about each others spiritual development? What would our churches look like? Just some questions.

Life is about people, all about people.
