Saturday Mind Dump

  • Wal-Mart on Saturday is absolutely crazy.  I have no idea why I put myself through spending time there on the weekend.  However, Duncan Donuts Coffee and Folders Gourmet products makes the trip totally worth it.
  • My puppy is slowly turning into a “real” dog.  He sleeps more and more and settles when people come up to pet him.  I absolutely love him.  An example of his getting older; he is passed out next to me right now and shows no sign of getting up anytime soon.
  • After a year of having my phone, (which I love, thanks to Rhett Edwards), I am starting to understand how the calender function works.  I never really took the time to figure out how it functions.  However, I simplified it and figured it out it works.  I think I might actually might start using it.
  • The whiteboard sessions were almost all online this week.  It was amazing to see how conferences are using technology to advance information for pastors ad teachers.  I even had some online chats with other pastors while the event was taking place.  I was amazed and encouraged all day.
  • Exodus is an amazing book of the bible.  I would have hated to be anyone against Moses and Aaron.
  • If the month of May were a person I would smack it across the face and tell it to stop being so busy and make time for Jesus!
  • I need to take my ipod in.  For some odd reason there is a little white line that appeared across the top of the screen.  I have no idea how it got there but it’s under warranty so I’m taking it in this week.
  • No Dave Matthews tickets yet.  I still have faith that someone will take pity on me.
  • Summer weather means shorts and flip-flops.  Now if we could only get the summer weather here, I’d break out the shorts and flip-flops.
  • Major League baseball 2k7 is amazing.
  • Has anyone seen the “Receive Jesus” commercials. (With the guy with semi long hair that are about 20 seconds long.)  For some reason I find them comforting and creepy at the same time.

What about you?
