    By no means I am trying to defend Disney and what these pictures show, but young children do not completely understand the concepts presented in these pictures. The princesses are all beautiful, but are also kind and caring. With the proper parenting, the parents can teach the young children that beauty isn’t everything and that the children should strive to have a kind and caring heart. I watched and still watch these movies all the time, but until now, these concepts didn’t occur to me. You may take that as you will.

      Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn’t women’s right not hugely pushed until the 1960’s? Looking at the dates on these princesses in the second picture, I notice that half of these stories were written pre-women’s rights. The others followed the same storyline, but different settings. I think the artist has very valid points, but there are at least two sides to every argument and I am trying to bring another side here.
